Niss-AM mid Europe strutting it's stuff.

That's it the Rally is now over I'm sad to say. We have had an absolute riot of a time meeting some amazingly fun people & having a top time with them along the way.

After abandoning our hotel in Amsterdam and foregoing our second night in what can only be described as a kennel with a bathroom we returned home at 1am this morning. The live wires poking out from the headboard and the burn holes in the sheets are just not up to our usual standard of establishment. Good job we were a bit drunk after the end of rally party* otherwise we'd have been home earlier!

The last day was a blast from Prague to Amsterdam via Dresden, Hanover & Leipzig. We tested the aerodynamics of a mobile phone and it passed the Niss-AM roof top test. Saw 100mph on the Autobahns and still got buffeted out the way by Audi's & BMW's. We were Mooned by the Ghostbusters and did 90 in the snow out of the Czech Republic.

Our Niss-AM is in one piece and still powering along, it's only failure was one bulb. For sale soon by the way ;-)

Damo may have now evened out the speed ticket score on the dash to Calais. The post will tell.....

Many more pictures to follow soon and we'll be twisting the arms of all our sponsors for your pledges.

A big thank you for all the support that has helped us round Europe and raise cash for Hampshire & IOW Air Ambulance.

More soon......

A Smokey gets the Bandits :(
The mighty Niss-AM in front of BMW's four cylinders (BMW HQ)

We'll it was gonna happen and this morning a Munich Smokey gave us a tug on the ring road :( But using our staple ammunition for such a situation (wit, charm & dashing good looks) the Bandits drove away unscathed. Some other teams in the event had upset the local law enforcement so we had a quick display of documents and were off on our way. We've left Germany and are now in Prague after visiting Ragenburg & Pizen on the way. The Niss-AM is marching on and we can't hear the rear wheel bearing occasionally at all before anyone asks. We got well and truly razzed on the Autobahn's, they have no respect here for our awesome driving machine, BMW's & Merc's make the Niss-AM wobble as they fly by. We are holding a steady 85-90mph. We have them in a false sense of security, our mighty 1.6 will see them all off when we unleash it tomorrow...

Tomorrow is the final leg to Amsterdam, traversing Germany visiting Dresden, Leipzig & Hanover about 540 miles and then it's the final nights party with all the teams, so next update will be blurry some time Monday......

The moustache has now gone, adopted by a small caterpillar family on the outskirts of Prague, we at Team Shothit wish mini Burt all the best for the future.

A thousand miles from home!
1-Cowboy-1-8
Well we've covered a 1000 miles since leaving home boy this is getting tuff but the Cuban heels are holding out, but the Niss-Am is like a trooper. Today we elbowed our way out of Paris & headed to Munich but on the way we had to stop for more challenges at Reims, Metz, Strasbourg & Stuttgart each time in and around the respective city/town centers. Now past midnight & just got back from a pizza and pint (.4litre) up at 6:30 for the short'ish trip to Prague.

On board the Eurotunnel
The Niss-AM is off!

Well it's 23:22 here in Paris & we are well fed, averagely watered and very tired.
So far we have definitely set off one speed camera (Neil) and gained a 35 euro parking ticket.

We have trekked from one end of Paris and back to the other taking in the sights and taking photos for the challenges set by the organizers. Damian has had his picture taken with chickens, a bull & farmer in his tractor all whilst wearing a cowboy hat, false moustache& heels.

Tomorrow we head for Munich in Germany, stopping off at Reims, Metz, Strasbourg & Stuttgart on the way, with challenges to be completed at each stop

*see Damo's knees!
